Tove Lo wore this custom blood orange (the color of love) uterus dress to the ARIA Awards in Australia on Tuesday night. Too revealing?
Made by designer Emelie Janrell, the dress is part of a recurring theme for Tove Lo. The o’s in her name were drawn as vaginas on the cover of Lady Wood, her second album released in October, and the Swedish artist has a similar vaginal tattoo on her wrist. In this red carpet interview with Be at the ARIAs, when asked to describe her logo, Tove says, “A vagina… or a pussy… whatever you want to call it,” adding, “I’m from Sweden where we don’t really censor at all… You’ve just got to say what it is.”
Happy holidays.
