I am not typically scared of Ben Affleck, math, or sunny-side up eggs but all three of those things made me fear for my life during the teaser trailer for the upcoming thriller The Accountant. The two-minute spot is heavy on Radiohead and light on plot details, so here’s the synopsis, as reported by Deadline:

The film stars newly-minted Batman Ben Affleck as Christian Wolff, a math savant and possible sociopath whose small-town CPA practice is actually a front for his real job – freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department starting to close in on him, he takes on a legitimate client – an accounting clerk at a state-of-the-art robotics company who has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. As the books get uncooked, the body count starts to rise.

Unmentioned in the synopsis: who the hell is that kid, what’s Anna Kendrick so frightened about, and why are Ben Affleck’s eggs so unsettling to me? We’ll find out this October.
