Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to introduce you to the World Cup of Squee, starring Java. The clip comes to us from Doug McKeehen, Java’s proud owner who tells us Java loves to play soccer and has some pretty killer moves on the field. “He uses his two front paws to dribble the soccer ball, and he has complete control of the direction and speed of the ball….nothing can distract him, except for one moment when another dog smelled just too good.” (That’s a yellow card for excessive sniffing, Java.)
I gave my Lab a soccer ball once. She tried to eat it. When that didn’t work, she tried to use it as a pillow. It kept rolling out from underneath her head so she just kept following it to wherever it rolled, trying to lay on top of it. So she’s not exactly World Cup of Squee material just yet.
