Last night’s episode of The Simpsons featured Homer being trained for his new job in ad sales at the power plant by none other than Roger Sterling himself. Okay, actually, it was a Simpsonized version of a modern day Mad Men sales guy who happened to be voiced by John Slattery. Still, for those of us who are counting the months until AMC’s golden series returns, it’s enough to hold us over.
Here’s how it went down: Slattery’s salesman character showed Homer the glorious perks of being an ad man, which included boozing all day at the office and wooing the Mayor at a basketball game. When Marge became dissatisfied with Homer’s new lifestyle, she decided to visit the Silver Fox at his penthouse apartment. Within the blink of an eye, she was completely disrobed and in his bed. And then, the shower. Smoother than an Eisenhower-era freeway!
