Wes Anderson to Turn Timothée Chalamet Into Wes Anderson Character

EntertainmentMovies

Timothée Chalamet’s cheekbones were born to be a Wes Anderson bellhop, or Boy Scout, or precocious high school student, or stop-motion King Charles Spaniel. And soon, they will fulfill their destiny, as the Internet’s third favorite boyfriend (behind Noah Centineo and the Hot Duck) has reportedly been cast in Anderson’s upcoming film, The French Dispatch.

According to IndieWire, the film also stars Anderson stalwarts Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, and Tilda Swinton, in addition to Jeffrey Wright and Benicio del Toro. Natalie Portman, Brad Pitt and Léa Seydoux are rumored to be in the cast as well, though that’s still unconfirmed.

The movie is set in Paris, and filming commenced in Southwestern France last week. IndieWire describes the film as “a love letter to journalists set at an outpost of an American newspaper in 20th-century Paris,” with three interwoven plotlines.

It’s unclear what role Chalamet will play—a stalwart reporter? A charming baguette seller? A baguette? Only time will tell.
