Just one week after Cher was announced as the face of Marc Jacobs’ fall 2015 campaign, the designer has revealed his latest model and it is 14-year-old Willow Smith. The singer and youngest child of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith is the second star to join the campaign. Jacobs posted a photo to Instagram of Smith decked out in a metallic coat, full, pleated skirt and lace-up heels, describing her as “talented, stylish and charming.”
Jacob’s collection is said to be inspired by Diana Vreeland’s apartment in later years, according to Fashionista. The photos were styled by Katie Grand, editor-in-chief of Love Magazine. In the caption of Smith’s photo, Jacobs also ran through a long list of past celebrity models such as Victoria Beckham, Sofia Coppola, Miley Cyrus, Jessica Lange and Cindy Sherman, saying he has “always preferred collaborating with the people who inspire me to give new life to the clothes we show on our runway.” Cher’s campaign photo showed the 69-year-old singer, actress and High Priestess of Twitter posing in a black gown and gloves.
