In retaliation for U.S. forces hunting down and killing Osama bin Laden, members of al Qaeda are planning to take out President Obama’s 88-year-old step-grandmother. Security has been stepped up around Sarah Obama since the threat was issued by Al Shabaab, the African branch of al Qaeda. One police chief says there are now enough officers around her home in Kenya “to patrol the entire village.” She says, “My life has not been affected in any way … It has not restricted my movement. If the government has decided to bring more security personnel, we are OK with it.”
