The Queen of the Sea will be playing a free concert on the Carnival Splendor ship, which holds over 3,000 passengers, taking place on February 18. The cruise will be sailing from Long Beach, California to the Mexican Riviera. “I’m really looking forward to a night with my fans in what promises to be a unique venue for an incredible night,” Jepsen, Queen of Incredible Nights, said in a statement.
Typically I find cruises terrifying. All I can think of when the word cruise comes to mind is ships sinking, noroviruses, and murder. But I can certainly find the courage to give a Carly Rae Jepsen cruise a chance, especially since it’s her first time playing a cruise ship. If I’m already going to spend my vacation on a perilous death trap at sea, might as well do so while listening to Carly!
