The Canadian company Toletta commissioned designer Laura Dreger to create a dress using only the disposable toilet seat covers it manufactures. She came up with this ensemble, which consists of 520 seat covers. After watching Project Runway we’re well aware that garbage can be crafted into couture, but we’re still confused by the product the company is peddling. Is a “premium brand of purse sized travel packs of paper toilet seat covers” really necessary when germophobes can simply line the seat with toilet paper?
