Breastfeeding Baby Doll Suckles At Kathie Lee's Bosom

This morning on Today, Kathie Lee tried out a breastfeeding doll, and seemed thrilled by the experience, throwing in some baby talk and overemotional faces. Hoda commented, “Something’s just so weird about what’s happening right now.”

We’ve mentioned Europe’s Bebe Gluton, the breastfeeding doll, before, as well as her American counterpart, Breast Milk Baby. Though Hoda called the doll “a little weird,” and questioned whether 7-year-old girls should be pretending to breastfeed, Kathie Lee declared, “It’s play. I don’t see the damage in it.” She pointed out that seven-year-olds often play with Barbie, “who is fully matured, if you know what I mean.” Mark this day in your calendars, folks: Kathie Lee has an excellent point.
