Cardi has two buns in the oven: a new album and a new baby.

Cardi B Is Pregnant Again!

Well, Cardi B (né Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) has finally announced what every third person on Twitter has asserted for the last several weeks now: she’s pregnant again. That’s right, the Grammy-winning rapper whose long-awaited sophomore album, Am I The Drama? is due out this Friday, is also expecting her fourth child—the first with New England Patriots wide receiver, Stefon Diggs.

“I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” Cardi, who’s due in February, said in a new sit-down with CBS Mornings‘ Gayle King. And in classic Cardi candor, she added: “By the way, now that I talk about it, y’all better buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that stuff.”

Cardi told King that she was initially hesitant about dating again following her July 2024 divorce from Offset, her ex-husband and the father of her three children. As we all saw, their split culminated in very little but public contention. But Diggs wouldn’t be denied. Early on in their—relatively new—relationship, Cardi recalled Diggs telling her: “Let me heal you. Give me a chance for me to heal you.”

In my experience, when men wax poetic like that, it’s only a matter of time before they do everything but heal you, but hey, I guess we’ll see! For now, Cardi is in love love—all those allegations be damned!

“And he just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” she gushed. “I mean, like, two weeks ago, I was literally having a panic attack. I was, like, crying and crying and crying, just because I was just getting really nervous with you know, the whole album rollout…People were coming at me very hard. You know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people was just saying very mean things about me. He makes me feel very confident…And it makes you feel like you could take over the world.”

Meanwhile, the terminally online aren’t shocked by the revelation. Scroll through any of your timelines today, and I guarantee they’ll be rife with sentiments like this. Frankly, Cardi confirming she’s with child just weeks after throwing a pen at a man who asked if she was pregnant again while she was in court for an assault lawsuit couldn’t be any funnier to me now.

She is the drama, indeed.
