Congratulations to Tyra Banks' FABLife on Its Inevitable Cancellation

Latest

FABLife, the embattled talk show that lead host Tyra Banks quit last year, has officially been cancelled. What will you click past in the afternoon now?

Disney/ABC decided not to renew the show for a second season, according to Deadline, even after looking at random replacements for Tyra. Some of those included Sherri Shepherd, Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum and Tori Spelling—so, it wasn’t looking good even then.

In a statement, a Disney executive named Janice Marinelli said she was “extremely proud” of the folks who worked on the show. Nonetheless, Tyra, Joe Zee, Chrissy Teigen, Lauren Makk and Leah Ashley are moving on, ideally to shows where the hosts have chemistry.

Elsewhere, The Real has been renewed for two more seasons and The Wendy Williams Show has been extended until 2020.
