The Wrap reports Friday that reclusive comedian Dave Chappelle will host NBC’s Saturday Night Live on November 12. The musical guest for Chappelle’s episode—which is, somehow, his first—will be A Tribe Called Quest, “who are releasing their first and last studio album in 18 years.”
Chappelle has been largely absent from television since he reportedly turned down an offer of $50 million dollars to continue making his wildly popular Chappelle’s Show a decade ago.
Maybe his appearance on SNL next week is proof of his long-rumored TV comeback! Maybe it’s just another one-off public appearance! All I know is that I think about the Wrap It Up! box like four times a week.
