Though Casey Johnson was known to have a drug problem, law enforcement sources say she may have died from not taking her diabetes medication.

“She was still suffering from diabetes and she was still on diabetic medications,” said a police source. “The speculation is she came home after a night of partying and passed out without taking her meds or her insulin and that was the end of her.” She was hospitalized at least twice, once in the past year, after falling into a diabetic coma.
