According to the Washington Post, before the Wednesday meeting, Trump was fairly optimistic about Congress seeing legislation on DACA “real soon,” a statement contradicted by Speaker Paul Ryan, who says it will be “weeks” before any decisions will be made. After the back-and-forth of the last 24 hours, it kinda seems like they were both right.
