Robert Aydin Hakimoglu, 42, got in a fight Saturday night while discussing the Casey Anthony trial with some folks in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Hakimoglu, who agrees with the verdict, got so fired up while arguing with a group of people fishing that he punched a woman in the face and then jumped into a lagoon to get away from cops.
Melbourne Beach Police Sgt. Rick Dovale says that Hakimoglu didn’t know the individuals he was aruguing with. But:
“He agreed with the (jury’s) decision and said anybody who didn’t agree with it is not an American,” Dovale said. “And he said he would like to meet (Anthony) and maybe have kids with her.”
Yes, that’s right. Hakimoglu would like to meet Casey Anthony and have unprotected sex with her. Maybe.
This will come as no surprise, but it seems that Hakimoglu was drunk. After searching dark waters, the police found him in his bedroom at his parents’ house, sleeping. He’s been charged with resisting arrest and battery. He was released from the Brevard County Jail on Sunday. Too bad he wasn’t booked at Orange County jail — Hakimoglu might have been able to get a glimpse of his dream woman before her release on Sunday.
