Gucci Spoofs Star Trek In Bonkers Outer Space-Themed Photo Shoot
EntertainmentGucci has released their campaign for Fall Winter 2017 and it honestly looks like the high-fashion version of something you’d watch on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Alessandro Michele’s reign of bonkers vintage obsession continues.
The campaign’s launch page explains that, “Surreal, psychedelic outer space landscapes and trippy retro-futurist spaceship interiors create wild settings. For the Fall Winter 2017 campaign shot by Glen Luchford, Creative Director Alessandro Michele was inspired by the sci-fi genre of the 1950s and 60s, including the iconic TV program Star Trek.” And yes, Star Trek is the most obvious influence. The campaign actually credits CBS for the borrowed elements, like the iconic transporter room. This is the most obvious feature of the shots released and available to peruse in full at Tom & Lorenzo.
