Ciara frequently puts me, and everyone, to shame with her elastic dance moves, and this video for “I Bet” is no different. I wonder if she got this ballerina idea after stalking strolling through Misty Copeland’s Instagram account, like I occasionally do… Topically, Ciara’s addressing her breakup with Future (note the ad-libs mimicking his inflections), en pointe-ing (A) all over his dumb heart: “You acting like you upgrade me/ I upgraded you.”

The scenes toward the end where she’s swimming in her pink tutu (B) def remind me of Carrie’s fluffy Paris dress. Half of these moves are doable, by the way, but I’d say don’t attempt them without supervision. Enjoy. ::Pirouettes out::
