On today’s episode, JJ was irate over the case in which the defendant stole the plaintiff’s girlfriend’s purse, and then had the gall to sue the plaintiff for medical bills resulting from being chased down.

The plaintiff’s homeowner’s insurance settled the suit with the defendant, despite the fact that the police report from the incident placed the blame on the defendant (and described him as having an “unusual odor” to boot). The plaintiff then sued the defendant in Judge Judy‘s court for theft and assault. JJ was so mad at the nerve of the defendant that she awarded the plaintiff the maximum of $5,000.
