Meghan Markle Won't Return to Suits Since She's Busy With Prince Harry Now

Meghan Markle is officially done with Suits, and is exiting the show after its seventh season along with Patrick J. Adams. Page Six is pretty sure Markle’s decision is based on her new full-time job, the title of which is “Stepping Out In Public With Prince Harry,” though she’s also dedicating lots of time to her unsalaried passion project, “Chief Marriage Rumor Mill Generator.” They put it like this:

They’ve both been on the show since 2011. But off-screen Markle started dating Prince Harry, which launched her to larger fame.

Everyone knows a TV career is a direct pipeline into the royal family, so what’s taking Adams so long? I think Princess Beatrice of York is still on the market, as is, I’m pretty sure, Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy? Plenty of options. Us says otherwise:

“He was always leaving the show. He made his mind up a while ago,” our insider told Us. “Patrick wants to pursue other things and he’s realized his time at Suits has come to an end. They were waiting for Gabriel Macht to sign. He’s going back so there will be a season 8 and as of now, 9.”

Adams is already married to Troian Bellisario, but that will be over soon enough once he realizes that he, too, can be the object of rabid, hysterical speculation if only he’d drop that filthy commoner and get with a Royal. Who doesn’t want that?
