Nicole Kidman Might Have Found Herself a “Mystery Man”

Why am I crying? Oh, nothing….I’m just really happy that a post-divorce Nicole Kidman is happy and thriving and maybe having a summer fling on the Italian coast. Because if anyone deserves it, it’s her.

In September, we learned that Kidman and Keith Urban were headed to divorce—a genuinely shocking breakup announcement considering the two had been going strong for 19 years. After the news broke, Kidman slayed the cover of Vogue, got revenge bangs, and was nothing short of booked and busy, all the while Urban kept doing whatever the hell it is that he does. But it looks like as of Thursday, it’s no longer all work and no play for Kidman, as she was photographed with her very own “mystery man,” later identified as businessman Michael Reinstein, outside her hotel in Portofino, Italy.

The photos taken Saturday and obtained by Page Six on Thursday show Kidman wearing a silk number and being more than friendly with a man—whom I’ll continue to call “mystery man,” even though we know his name—outside her hotel in Portofino. The photos suggest romance is in the air. I mean, is there anything remotely platonic about a silk lounge set?

Divorced and thriving and having a summer fling on the Italian coast?! Well done, Nicole. 

While we don’t know the reason behind Kidman filing for divorce from Urban after 19 years, rumors about Urban having an affair were “all over Nashville.” (He also performed at Mar-a-Lago, so…Ew). The divorce was finalized in January, making Kidman a single woman to start the year, so if she were to be romantically entangled with a man-in-finance, what’s the harm? At least he doesn’t have a soul patch.

As always, as long as Nicole Kidman is happy, I’m happy. May she enjoy the rest of her Italian summer.
