Open Thread: Can We Come Up With a Name for These Insane Meetings? 

In this episode, the premise was supporting the victims so horribly affected by Hurricane Harvey, and the praise came from what Trump called “faith-based…people.” These faith people are highly respected, highly respected. Following the forced model established earlier this year with the weirdest Cabinet meeting ever, Trump pointed around the room, cuing each individual to force up tremendous humility and gratitude to stand in the glory of the divine presence of such a wise and Washington-like leader, a healer–no–a gift to America.

Since we’ve got three more absolutely glorious years of these, I submit that we need a name for this particular format of briefing.
