People Are Disrupting Clinton Rallies With 'Bill Clinton Is a Rapist' Shirts So They Can Win Money

In the midst of this brutal and never-ending carnival of an election, you’d think we’d run out of new ways to humiliate ourselves as a nation. But you’d be wrong: Protesters wearing “Bill Clinton is a Rapist” shirts are disrupting Clinton rallies, because the conspiracy site InfoWars is offering them $5,000 to do so.

CNN’s Dan Merica pointed out that’s why this is happening on Tuesday:

The official contest rules are on InfoWars’ own site; they’re framing it as “exposing” Clinton and say they’ll give $1,000 for yelling and $5,000 for yelling in a T-shirt. (They’re also selling shirts with Cinton’s face and the word “RAPE” underneath, in the style of the famous Obama “Hope” design.)

Hecklers interrupted a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday where President Obama was speaking in support of Hillary Clinton. They were thrown out. Obama responded by praising the freedom of the American political process and then cheerily mocking them, because this man is almost out the door and nothing, nothing can dampen that joy:

Later, Hillary Clinton herself was also interrupted:

The video has been shared on Twitter by Trump fans celebrating how this is going:

And the former president himself was heckled the previous day in Milwaukee by someone screaming, “You’re a rapist!”

Clinton responded:

“You gotta feel sorry for him. They had a bad day yesterday, so they’re trying to make it up. Give him a hand. When other people pour poison down your throat, don’t drink it. Give back good.”

Alex Jones, InfoWars founder and conspiracy theorist in chief, is clearly delighted by how well this is going, but he’s also moved on to rehashing another favorite theory: that Hillary Clinton is literally a demon.

As Media Matters points out, Jones has said that he learned from very high-level sources that Clinton is “demon-possessed,” as is President Obama, which is why flies land on them:

ALEX JONES: I’m never a lesser of two evils person, but with Hillary, there’s not even the same universe. She is an abject, psychopathic, demon from Hell that as soon as she gets into power is going to try to destroy the planet. I’m sure of that, and people around her say she’s so dark now, and so evil, and so possessed that they are having nightmares, they’re freaking out. Folks let me just tell you something, and if media wants to go with this, that’s fine. There are dozens of videos and photos of Obama having flies land on him, indoors, at all times of year, and he’ll be next to a hundred people and no one has flies on them. Hillary, reportedly, I mean, I was told by people around her that they think she’s demon-possessed, okay? I’m just going to go ahead and say it, okay?

It’s hard to think of a lower road than “Hillary Clinton is a literal demon from hell,” but certainly if it is there, Alex Jones will find it.
