An absolute shitstorm hit the BBC newsroom this week. By now we know of their well-publicized #cheesecakegate, which erupted into a series of tweets and office memorandums from a case of office cheesecake pilfering, including the following death threat:
This came just on the heels of Tom Donkin sprinting across the newsroom like a madman on live television at 2AM BST last Saturday (see above). Donkin has since apologized, but then he kinda owned it. As of this writing, both the cheesecake incident and Tom Donkin’s broadcast appear to have blown over.
