Selena Gomez and Her (Basically) Identical Twin Mom

Selena Gomez posed with her hand on her mom’s belly to celebrate Mother’s Day. Oh, and also because her mom, Mandy Teefey, 36, is pregnant with a second child. She had Selena when she was 16-years-old, and according to US Weekly, Selena credits her then-single mom for raising her right:

“I definitely didn’t appreciate [my upbringing] when I was little. I was frustrated that my parents weren’t together and never saw the light at the end of the tunnel where my mom was working hard to provide a better life for me,” she said.

Praising her mother, she added: “It’s because of [my mom] that I can do things on my own.”

Wait, what was that about teen moms always doing things wrong?
