Surrogate Who Took Back Babies: "I Felt Irresponsible As A Mother"

Today on GMA surrogate mother Shelley Baker said she didn’t reclaim the twins she birthed because their adoptive mom’s anxiety and depression-relation illness and drug conviction necessarily make her an unfit parent, “it just makes me uncomfortable.”

As mentioned earlier, Scott and Amy Kehoe, who aren’t biologically related to the babies, say Baker knew Amy was in treatment for mental health issues when they asked her to be their surrogate. “Those are our babies, they are not Shelley’s, they’re our babies and she is legally able to kidnap them,” says Amy.
