The Trailer For Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising Is Sorta Feminist

Entertainment

In Neighbors, a quiet family (Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and an adorable baby) is harassed by a rowdy crowd of fraternity boys (including Zac Efron and his abs) living next door. It was successful enough that a sequel is on the horizon—and this time, the quiet family next door is terrorized by a rowdy crowd of sorority girls, who will party all they want to because they’re feminists!

In Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, three hard-partying college students (Chloë Grace Moretz, Kiersey Clemons and Beanie Feldstein) feel it’s unfair that fraternities are legally allowed to throw parties but sororities aren’t. To combat this terrible sexism, they start their own off-campus sorority—Kappa Nu—and vow to exercise their right to throw all the parties they want. They also move next door to Rogen and Byrne’s characters, who are trying to sell their house but can’t with a bunch of turnt young adults next door. So the couple reunites with Zac and his abs for reinforcement—and the war of the adults vs. the college kids ensues.

“They’re using their sexuality as a weapon!” exclaims Rogen, as the sorority girls rip off his clothes. Neighbors 2 is in theaters May 20.
