Gerald Daugherty, a Republican, is running for re-election as the Travis (TX) County Commissioner. If this unusually pleasant political ad is any indication, he is doing a very good job!

Thanks to his wife Charlyn Daugherty’s gentle eye rolls and excellent lip pursing, this funny, self-deprecating political ad gained national attention for reminding us, for about three seconds, that not everything is horrifying right now.
