Trey Songz—a sex architect—added a couple verses and treacly trills to the remix of Kehlani’s “The Way,” a great, sexy anthem about being sprung.
This song didn’t really need Trey’s slightly over-sung trembles on it (the original features Chance the Rapper). Nonetheless, his mere presence makes the mood sexier.
Just as Kehlani is cooing about being obsessed with a specific dude and the way he moves, Trey is equally fawning over his woman: “Just when my heart it got frozen/ She opened the door and she strolled in.”
