While performing at Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto on Monday night, Kanye West rapped some songs (including something called “Famous”) and also teased that he and Drake might be working on a project together.
A sequel to Kanye and Jay Z’s Watch the Throne has been a myth for years since the original release, and now Ye is considering moving on and collaborating with our favorite swoll emo guy. Whether these are just empty promises from two influential rap figures is to be determined, but it seems it’s what the people want.
Kanye says in the clip above from the show, “Toronto, I got one question for you: Is y’all ready for this album? I’m not talking about Pablo. I’m not talking about VIEWS. I wanna ask y’all right now. Are y’all ready for this album?” Drake, polite as always, clarifies the statement: “What my brother was asking you before was, are you ready if we make an album?” Sure, we are.
