How many people learned the word vagabond through Elton John’s wondrous rendition of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” from The Lion King soundtrack? What is a vagabond? Of course, I know now. But as a child, I was filled with wonder and amazement and had to look it up. And once I did, it was hard not to see kings, vagabonds, and wide-eyed wanderers in everyone around me.
