A Florida woman has given birth to a baby with microecephaly, the birth defect caused by the Zika virus, Reuters reported on Tuesday. This is the first affected child in the state.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there have been at least three other children born with the same Zika-related defect. At least four other pregnant woman lost their babies after contracting the disease.

“The mother, a citizen of Haiti, came to Florida to deliver her baby,” said the state’s health department in a statement. “The department is working with the family to connect the child to services through our Early Steps program.”
