In the past 16-years, the number of hospital admissions caused by dog bites nearly doubled, increasing from 5,100 in 1993 to 9,500 in 2008. Researchers are stumped as to why, but perhaps they should looks more closely at the sharp rise in the number of embarrassing pet videos posted online during the same period.
