We’re not thrilled about Dr. Phil’s involvement in this, but there’s some good news in the Rebecca Zahau case: Her body is being exhumed to determine if her death really was a suicide. Many have questioned law enforcement’s conclusion that she bound her hands and feet and hanged herself off the balcony of her boyfriend’s Coronado, California mansion. Her sister, Mary Zahau-Loehner, says, “I want to thank for all the support and donation we have received. Due to the generosity of the public, we will be able to proceed with exhumation of Rebecca to find the truth of her death.” The family has hired high-profile pathologist and attorney Dr. Cyril Wecht to conduct a second autopsy. His findings will be aired on Dr. Phil’s TV show, and sources claim the not very good doctor paid for part of the exhumation.
