Dear Diary, a Heathers Musical Is Opening Off-Broadway

The show has been developed over the last several years by composer Laurence O’Keefe, who won a Tony for scoring Legally Blonde musical, and writer Kevin Murphy, who worked on the musical Reefer Madness. This sounds like just the team to make it happen! It begins performances on March 17 at New World Stages in NYC, running through Sept. 7.

There’s no word yet on the cast, but I’m pretty sure Shannen Doherty is available — and we all know she can sing:

However, I will be starting a Change.org petition to get Winona in this. They need to cast her because she will, no doubt, steal the show. (SORRY.)
