Elon Musk’s Comebacks Are as Flat as His Attempts at Jokes

Billie Eilish called Musk a “fucking pathetic pussy bitch coward” over his wealth hoarding—and it took him four whole days to come back with… just calling her stupid.

Elon Musk’s Comebacks Are as Flat as His Attempts at Jokes

Elon Musk continues to run afoul of spooky songstresses, and this one isn’t even his ex. The guy on track to become the world’s first trillionaire (congrats…) has come under fire from none other than Billie Eilish, who’s been using her platform as of late to take aim at wealth hoarders. The Billie vs. billionaires saga began a few weeks ago, when the singer used her speech at the Wall Street Journal’s Innovator Awards to ask the event’s wealthy attendees one simple question: “If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?”

She then instructed the billionaires in the room to “Give your money away, shorties.”

Simple. To the point. There’s a reason she’s known as a lyricist. This kicked off a round of discourse about whether Billie (a millionaire) is in a position to call out billionaires—but if that line of conversation reached her, it certainly didn’t stop her from speaking out more. On Thursday, Billie continued her anti-billionaire crusade by targeting Musk in a series of Instagram stories.

The 23-year-old slammed Musk on his soon-to-be-trillionaire status, starting with a carousel from My Voice My Choice titled “Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire here’s what he could do with it” which included items such as “end world hunger,” “save endangered species,” “and rebuild Gaza.” She then rounded that out by calling him a “fucking pathetic pussy bitch coward.” Once again, simple, poetic, to the point.

On Tuesday, Musk responded on Twitterwhich he still insists we call X—to declare that Bille is “not the sharpest tool in the shed.” I guess enumerating why, exactly, he is not choosing to end world hunger, save endangered species, or rebuild Gaza is beneath him.

So, where does the fight between the “Bad Guy” singer and an actual Bad Guy go from here? Personally, I’d like to see the two engage in a Jubilee-style debate where Musk’s meme-speak can go head-to-head with Billie’s Gen-Z affect, and we can solve this once and for all. Then Musk can get onto the very important business of moving to Mars.

Seriously, bro, we’re all waiting.
