Did you know that 48% of people on Facebook are friends with their mother? Or that Americans buy 140 million cards each Mother’s Day — when there are only 83 million mothers in the country?

I personally found it interesting to see the numbers relating to the sex of a person actually purchasing a card: 20% of them are men, 80% women. How does that work? If your mom’s a trivia nut, take a look at the rest of these stats and have something to impress her with on Sunday.
