French Writer Won't Sue Dominique Strauss-Kahn For Attempted Rape
LatestAfter French prosecutors announced that they’d stop investigating writer Tristane Banon’s claim that Dominique Strauss-Kahn tried to rape her in 2003, she threatened to sue. However, yesterday she announced that she won’t be pursuing a civil suit because the prosecutors’ finding that there is evidence that Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted her proves she isn’t a liar, even if the statute of limitations has passed. For now Strauss-Kahn has escaped punishment, but it seems there’s always another sexual misconduct case on the horizon.
