Here’s All the Republicans Who’ve Condemned Trump’s Call for Political Violence
Trump suggested murdering Democrats on Truth Social, and not a single Republican has said that's bad!

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination in September, the Vice President of the United States blew a lot of hot air about condemning political violence—but only political violence from the left, which he blamed for Kirk’s death. “Political violence, it’s just a statistical fact that it’s a bigger problem on the left,” Vance said while guest-hosting the Charlie Kirk Show on October 15. He also had Stephen Miller crawl out of his goblin hole to talk about “how to prevent this festering violence we are seeing on the far left.” With all that in mind, I’m very excited to see what Vance has to say about his boss posting that we should kill a bunch of lawmakers! (So far…crickets.)
On Tuesday, Trump suggested executing six Democrats—all veterans—who, earlier this week, made a video reminding U.S. service members that their oath is to the U.S. Constitution, and they should ignore any illegal orders they receive.
“This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP???” Trump posted on Truth Social about the video. He followed that up with, “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” As of publishing, not a single Republican has suggested that maybe the president of the (alleged) most powerful country in the world should refrain from using his Twitter-knockoff platform to call for the death of his political enemies.
Featured in the video are senators Elissa Slotkin and Mark Kelly, and representatives Chrissy Houlahan, Chris Deluzio, Maggie Goodlander, and Jason Crow. “This administration is pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens,” they say, before declaring, “You can refuse illegal orders.” They did not specify what exactly they were referring to, but Crow told Fox News on Wednesday that some of the examples include Trump saying he’d send troops to polling stations and threatening to put the military at war against Dem-led cities.
Republicans were plenty displeased about the Dems’ video. Miller crawled out of his goblin hole again to accuse them of stoking “insurrection” and demanding they “resign in disgrace,” while Pete “It’s the Department of WAR!!!!!!!” Hegseth called it “Stage 4 TDS” on Twitter, and Sen. Marsha Blackburn (TN) told Fox News that it’s “inconceivable” that they could do such a thing as try and protect the country from a raging, aging, wannabe dictator.
Trump also reposted a bunch of other Truth Social’ers who called them “traitors,” a “disgrace,” “domestic terrorists,” and suggested they be arrested and jailed for “sedition.” One person posted, “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!” —a sentiment Trump was happy to amplify.
Once again, here are all the Republicans who condemned that:
