Today Jessica Beagley, the mom convicted of child abuse for pouring hot sauce into her son’s mouth and giving him cold showers, was given a suspended sentence of 180 days. She was also put on three years of probation, ordered to continue counseling, and fined $2,500, though the fine will also be suspended if she completes probation. Beagley had videotaped the abuse to get on Dr. Phil and was facing a year in prison and a $10,000 fine.
