Here’s something to look out for when you’re planning your next trip: Hotels across the country are keeping dogs on staff for guests to play with. Ten Fairmont Hotels have dogs that live in the hotels and are available for walks. At the Red Mountain Resort and Spa in Utah, there’s a golden retriever who leads hikes with her trainer, or you can go on walks with puppies from a local shelter, with the option to bring the dog home if you hit it off.
