A 16-year-old girl from Nagasaki prefecture has been arrested for allegedly murdering, decapitating, and dismembering her 15-year-0ld friend and classmate. That whooshing sound you hear is 4 million aspiring horror screenwriters firing up their laptops.

A Japanese girl attending this high school in Nagasaki prefecture has been arrested on suspicion of killing and dismembering her classmate. The 16-year-old suspect is being held here in this local police station. She admitted beating and strangling a 15 year-old girl. Police found a decapitated body, a dismembered hand and various tools in the suspect’s apartment. The principle held a news conference at the high school, saying the two girls were believed to have been friends.
AND THEN ALSO:
He also asked the police to remove some unauthenticated photographs from the internet, that were allegedly taken by the suspect and reportedly show a bleeding hand. He said the pictures could upset children at the school.
This is very very terrible and sad and I don’t have any commentary. Besides, um, don’t dismember people? And don’t post pictures of dismembered children on the internet? And the world’s most massive condolences?
