Mitch McConnell Campaign Made a Pathetic Auto-Tuned Smear Video

It’s so great when conservative politicians attempt the internet. Just imagine them sitting around a yellowed, ten-year-old computer and saying, “Hmm…how shall we ‘internet’ today?”

71-year-old Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s first plan of attack against Alison Lundergan Grimes, the Kentucky secretary of state who announced yesterday that she’ll challenge McConnell in the 2014 Senate race, is…something to behold.

None of the phrases listed in the video (“not ready for prime time”; “sticks to party line”; “left wing mime”) actually rhyme with Grimes, which has an “S” on the end. Also, Mitch McConnell’s name is spelled incorrectly in the closing credits.

But it is catchy. We’ll give it that.
