Mom Charged With Neglect After Kids Walk To Store

Candace Amber Cole of South Carolina was charged with child neglect after her 5-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son walked about a mile to a gas station to buy toilet paper. A store employee flagged down a police officer, who found Cole asleep when they returned to the house. She’s being held in jail and the kids are with their grandmother.
