Nicki Minaj Comments on Fashion Week Incident With Cardi B: 'I Was Mortified'

Latest

Just in case you suddenly woke up from a 10-year coma and are looking for the important news of the week: Cardi B and Nicki Minaj recently came head to head at a fashion week party, during which Cardi threw her shoe at Minaj. The reason for throwing the sacred red Elie Saab platform? Cardi insinuated that Nicki made comments that night about her daughter Kulture. But Minaj says she’d never do such a thing.

On the most recent episode of her increasingly bizarre Beats 1 radio show Queen Radio, Minaj addressed the confrontation between the two that occurred at a Harper’s Bazaar party. “The way they passed by looking at this disgusting commotion I was mortified,” she said, according to The Fader, referring to attendees. “I could not believe how humiliated it all felt. Because we, how we made ourselves look.”

She went on to address rumors that she spoke ill of Kulture, saying:

“I would never discuss anyone’s child. For someone to pin that on me…[That’s] because I’m the bad guy and they know people would believe them. I just want to let the world know that Onika Tanya Maraj will never has never speak ill of anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown shit.”

Oh, and she accused Cardi B of building “her career off sympathy and payola” and telling an unnamed male rapper not to appear in one of her videos, because it wouldn’t be an episode of Queen Radio without an explosive accusation. Granted, Cardi B did also accuse Nicki as well of threatening artists who worked with her.

There’s more:

My question still is: who the hell has the shoe? Because Cardi left that party barefoot.
