First Lady Melania Trump will travel the country to promote her convoluted (and, some say, illiterate-sounding) Be Best initiative to school children across this great nation.
Tulsa World reports that Trump’s first stop will be an elementary school in Tulsa, Oklahoma:
“Whether it is social media and technology or drug and alcohol abuse, children in our country and around the world are faced with many challenges,” Trump said in a news release. “Through Be Best I will continue to shine a spotlight on the well-being programs that provide children the tools and skills required for emotional, social and physical well-being and promote successful organizations, programs, and people who are helping children overcome some of the issues they face while growing up in the modern world.”
Then Melania is off to Seattle, where she will learn to code. (Just kidding.) Then, Trump will participate in a town hall on opioids in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Be Best is a three tier program that tackles childhood wellbeing, online safety, and opioid abuse, but actually does not do any of those things! (Also, opioid abuse seems pretty tacked on there, but no matter.)
If Trump really cared about the children, she’d help them find a way to get more fans on TikTok.
