Pear-Shaped Ladies Destined To Have Crappy Memory

Wrinkles, gray hair, arthritis — aging is chock-full of bonuses. Now new research from Northwestern University finds that women with excess weight in their hips experience more brain deterioration as they age. Something else to look forward to!

Dr. Diana Kerwin tells CNN:

“The fat may contribute to the formation of plaques associated with Alzheimer’s disease or a restricted blood flow to the brain.”

Just tell it like it is, Dr. Kerwin. My fat ass is affecting my brain. JUST SAY IT.

“Obesity is bad, but its effects are worse depending on where the fat is located,” Kerwin says. Ugh. Being pear-shaped is… Um, there was something else to complain about, but I forget.
