At the end of the clip depicting fans at the concert the icon held in Baltimore to bring a bit of sunshine to such a sad situation, Prince added this statement: “The system is broken. It’s going to take the young people to fix it this time. We need new ideas, new life.”
He’s not wrong, and thanks to Black Lives Matter and pushes from activists like Johnetta Elzie, change is in the wind.
