In May, Prince joined the protest music wave with a new single called “Baltimore.” The video, released today, features news clips about the late Freddie Gray’s case, demonstrators in Baltimore and even that CVS authorities were so worried about.
At the end of the clip depicting fans at the concert the icon held in Baltimore to bring a bit of sunshine to such a sad situation, Prince added this statement: “The system is broken. It’s going to take the young people to fix it this time. We need new ideas, new life.”
