Sherri Shepherd Attempts To Call Out Barbara Walters For Racial Statement

Latest

Today on The View, the ladies were in the midst of a happy, spirited discussion of yesterday’s inauguration — until Barbara and Sherri got in an argument about racial stereotypes.

Babs was trying to say that she thinks that the Obamas will debunk certain stereotypes that some white people may have about black people, comparing Obama’s election to what The Cosby Show did a few decades earlier. She meant it to be a positive statement, but Sherri misinterpreted it as Barbara saying that America hadn’t seen an educated black family since the Huxtables. Then Babs got pissed and said, “Don’t get me in trouble.” Clip above.
