Some People Are Upset About Saturday Night Live's ISIS Sketch
Latest
Last night Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson hosted Saturday Night Live. And she did okay! There was an kinda uncomfortable opener with her parents, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, and some jokes about the uncomfortable Fifty Shades press junket.
But it was this ISIS sketch that apparently got people on the internet very angry. In the sketch – a parody of a Toyota ad – a father (played by Taran Killam) says a tearful goodbye to his daughter (Johnson) and drops her off to join ISIS.
The Daily Mail has a rundown of Twitter users who thought the sketch was insensitive and un-American.
